Thinking Of Sending Us Something?
Here are the rules:
Letters, photos and articles should be typed double-spaced on 81/2" x 11" paper, or clearly hand-written.
Photographs should be identified. Print the proper information on a small sheet of paper and tape to the reverse side of the photo. Color photos only. They cannot be returned.
Identify all material submitted by giving your full name, complete address (including Zip Code), phone number, the name of your praesidium or council. It is understood that no payment can be made. All material submitted becomes property of Maria Legionis and cannot be returned. All accepted articles are subject to editing or abridgement.
PLEASE NOTE
• Photos without an accompanying article or suitable information cannot be accepted. Photos of general reunions or outdoor functions, unless uniquely interesting, are not considered to have readership interest.
• Photos should stir some interest in our readers and can be of the author of the article as well as the subject of the photo: new or unusual work, special event, etc. (most group shots of members around a table would not be in this category)
• Long articles or numerous photos of one topic cannot be considered due to the limited number of pages in the supplement. Actual reports of councils or praesidia cannot be published.
• Human interest articles must have a Legion of Mary connection or be of Marian or apostolic interest.
Material for the North American Supplement should be sent to:
Editor - Maria Legionis
201 E. Main Street
Norristown, PA 19401
(610) 277-5037
FAX (610) 279-9937
If desired you may submit your article for the main section of our magazine (exclusive of the supplement) by sending your material directly to
Editor, Maria Legionis
Legion of Mary
Morning Star Avenue
Brunswick Street
Dublin 7 Ireland.
It cannot be acknowledged or returned.
The submission of material for publication does not mean automatic acceptance and no acknowledgement can be sent. Since the quarterly issues are worked on months in advance, accepted material may not appear for some time.
